  1. when i create a network from my laptop it connects from the ipad system preferences but the lemur does not appear to the lemur app on OSX, if i change to my home wifi on both laptop and ipad it works.. any ideas what could that be?

awesome tutorial, thank you very much

  2. Very well put together tutorial, but as somebody who has no clue what lemur is, trying to figure it or, watching you rush through the interface, and assign random things to random places, it doesn't seem to help me build knowledge, it's making me want to go to a different tutorial to figure out how to actually use lemur.

  3. I have never ever succeeded to make work any controller app with ableton, it's too much of a mess, and their site are not even updated, i got lemur, touchosc, i have tried to make work livecontrol, mu (both workin on lemur)I could not find any reliable information, for livecontrol (1) it doesnt work they have updated to livecontrol2 but files are missing, same for mu! I think they havn't adapted newer version to newer ableton update! That is such an hassle that I gave up, plus you need sometimes other ios app to make them work! livecontrol is an app within an app (touch osc), but that require an OS bridge app, and an OS app, and it's almost the same for each! you finish with 20 iOS/OS useless app populating your disk space for nothing! these apps are definitely not worth it, they look extremely good on the paper, but too mush hassle in practice (not to use) to install, and make work!

  4. I get how you mapped the on/off button of Autofilter but you didn't explain how you mapped the cutoff & resonance, what did you press on iPad?

  5. Useful video that got my Lemur app working with Live 9.

Critical feedback: delivery is too fast, so lots of pausing and rewinding required, which is annoying when watching on a smartphone. Also the full steps on setting up the I/O in Daemon are missing, which I worked out but wasn't completely intuitive.

  6. How should I go about if I want to sync my project bpm with, say, the new step-sequencer that comes with Lemur? I'm using it to control my MS20 Mini and being able to set the tempo straight from Ableton Live would be great, together with transport-controls like Play/Pause (if that's possible).

  7. I suggest for the Ableton users to look at Touchable as well. I use it in my Productions all the time. Great touch x/y pads. All preset workstations. Simple connection to Ableton.

  8. FOR ALLLLLLLL PC USERS. READ THIS. YOU NEED A THIRD PARTY APP CALLED LOOP MIDI OR LOOP BE FOR THIS TO WORK. IVE WASTED ALOT OF MY TIME FINDING THIS OUT. I HOPE TO GOD YOU DONT.

  9. Mmm im looking to get the lemur app to control my MPC1000 more flawlessly, I guess it works with general midi. Do you know if this is possible¿?

  10. I don't know this for a fact, but in a live situation you could try using your laptop to create an adhoc wireless network. Then connect your iPad to it. Presumable you'd have a laptop for this.

  11. I'd love to see more in-depth Lemur / Ableton and even Max4Live integration. Particularly how to do live dubstep bassline manipulation. (wobble presets, etc)
