Life and fitness are about balance and indulgence is area of the equation. Being selective with splurges gives me the freedom to choose if my calories should go toward a favorite dessert or even a grown-up beverage. I certainly will not ignore a piece of my Mom’s homemade lemon meringue pie.

I also like a nice glass of burgandy or merlot wine during the week. Workouts can be effective without being attracted and extreme away. I don’t spend endless hours in the fitness center to maintain my body. I believe an effective workout can be completed in 60 minutes or less. I also feel my workout routines are a wholesome outlet and not a punishment for eating crappy.

I be sure to get in 4-5 workouts weekly with at least two recovery times. I would call my healthy lifestyle reasonable, maintainable, and mentally positive. I really do my best to eat healthily and sometimes this means my food isn’t always organic. Realistically, unless we’re growing our very own food in untainted earth, none folks are 100 percent organic consumers truly.
